PDEP01

God saw you were getting tired,and a cure was not to be.

So He put His hands around you, and whispered, "Come to me".

With tearful eyes I watched you suffer, and saw you fade away.

Although I loved you dearly, I could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating, working hands were put to rest.

God broke my heart to prove to me, He only takes the best.

PDEP02

Grieve not,

nor speak of me with tears,

but laugh and talk of me

as if I were beside you...

I loved you so

'twas Heaven here with you.

-Isla Paschal Richardson-

PDEP03

Those we love remain with us,

for love itself lives on.

Cherished memories never fade,

because one loved is gone.

Those we love can never be

more than a thought apart;

For as long as there is memory,

They live on in our hearts.

PDEP04

Do not stand by my grave and weep

I am not there. I do not sleep

I am a thousand winds that blow

I am a diamond glint on snow

I am the sunlight on ripened grain

I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awake in the morning hush

I am the swift uplifting rush

Of quiet birds in circling flight

I am the soft star shine at night.

Do not stand by my grave and cry

I am not there.

PDEP05

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free

A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,

Ah yes, these things I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow,

I wish you sunshine of tomorrow.

My life's been full, I've savored much,

Good friends, good times,

a loved one's touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief;

Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.

Lift up your hearts and share with me,

God wanted me now; He set me free.

PDEP06

It's been awhile since you've been gone,

but not a day passes that you are alone.

Wrapped in arms of love, that we can't see,

your soul is safe and forever free.

PDEP07

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.

I love thee to the depth and breadth and height

My sould can reach, when feeling out of sight

For the ends of being and idle Grace.

I love thee to the level of every day's

Most quiet need; by sun and candle-light.

I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;

I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.

I love thee with the passion put to use

In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.

I love thee with a love I seemed to lose

With my lost saints, - I love thee with the breath.

Smiles, tears, of all my life! - and, if God choose,

I shall but love thee better after death.

-Elizabeth Barrett Browning-

PDEP08

Shall I compare thee to a Summer's day?

Thou art more lovely and more temperate:

Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,

And Summer's lease hath all too short a date:

Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,

And oft' is his gold complexion dimm'd;

And every fair from fair sometime declines,

By chance or nature's changing course untrimm'd:

But thy eternal Summer shall not fade

Nor lose possession of that fair thou owest;

Nor shall Death brag thou wanderest in his shade,

When in eternal lines to time thou growest:

So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,

So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

-William Shakespeare-

PDEP09

When I Come to the end of the road and the sun has set for me,

I want no rites in a gloom filled room, why cry for a soul set free?

Miss me a little-but not too long and not with your head bowed low.

Remember the love that we once shared,

Miss Me - But Let Me Go.

For this is a journey that we all must take and each must go alone,

It's all a part of the Master's plan, a step on the road home.

When you are lonely and sick of heart, go to the friends we know

and bury your sorrows in doing good deeds,

Miss Me - But Let Me Go

PDEP10

Let not your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in me.

In my father's house are many rooms;

if it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?

And when I go and prepare a place for you,

I will come again and will take you to myself that where I am you may be also.

-John 14:1-3-

PDEP11

The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not be in want.

He makes me lie down in green pastures,

He leads me beside quiet waters,

He restores my soul.

He guides me in the path of righteousness for His name's sake.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I will fear no evil, for You are with me;

Your rod and Your staff, They comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.

You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life,

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord - forever.

-23rd Psalm-
